Bundesliga Betting – Bayern Munich vs. Schalke 04 (April 30th)
The most unpredictable of the top four teams, Bayern Munich (1.382*) are in action against the most unpredictable side in Europe – Schalke 04 (9.450*).
It’s a case of a secret identity for Schalke, who are languishing down in 10th place in the league, but competing in the Champions’ League semi-finals. They’ve managed to overcome giants Inter Milan in recent weeks, proving that there’s always the chance of a special performance.
Munchen are under-performing on all fronts, but there has certainly been an up-turn recently – highlighted by the side’s 5-1 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen. A 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt, however, means there’s an heir of unpredictability about the team.
The side will be boosted by Robben’s public commitment to the club, but will that be enough to turnover Schalke and crawl back into the all-important Champions’ League place?
Bundesliga Betting – Hannover 96 vs. Borussia Monchengladbach (April 30th)
It’s a battle of seasonal- vs. form-overachievers, as Champions’ League-battlers Hannover take on a resurging Monchengladbach.
Both sides went against the odds to win their last games – Mon’gladbach’s victory coming against first-place Dortmund lifting them off the floor of the table for the first time in 16 weeks.
If either side slip-up here, however, it could mean an end to their dreams – with the favourite being Hannover at 1.787*. Mon’gladbach are rated at 4.790*, which is not as long as their odds against Dortmund.
Bundesliga Betting – Cologne vs. Bayer Levekusen (April 30th)
Levekusen are fast closing the gap on first-place with six win in their last seven outings. Cologne has lost four of their previous five. The odds for the next match, then, almost write themselves: Leverkusen 1.885*, Cologne 4.300*.
Cologne will take some comfort that talisman striker Lukas Podolski has stated his commitment to the club, but will his form manage to overcome Levekusen’s ambition?
Also in action are FC Kaiserslautern (1.909*) vs last-place St Pauli (4.160*), Werder Bremen (2.100*) vs Wolfsburg (3.360*), leaders Borussia Dortmund (1.472*) vs Nurnberg (7.620*), Hamburg (1.685*) vs SC Freiburg (5.540*), Mainz (2.060*) vs Eintracht Frankfurt (3.920*) and TSG Hoffenheim (2.770*) vs VfB Stuttgart (2.610*).
